AlShareef Altelmesani Family's History
The AlShareef AlTelmesani family has a rich history and is widely regarded as one of the most prominent families in Saudi Arabia. For generations, the family has produced successful traders and business leaders who have left an indelible mark on the city’s commercial landscape.
One of the family’s most illustrious members was AlShareef Abdulqader, a pioneering figure in Makkah’s trading scene whose legacy dates back to 1825. Another prominent member was AlShareef Ebrahim AlTelmesani, who was among the first importers of goods and petroleum products through the port of Jeddah. He also served as a distributor in Saudi Arabia long before the country’s oil discovery.

AlTelmesani’s house in Jeddah was a hub of commerce and trading in 1905, and later, in 1930, it even served as the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Today, the family’s legacy lives on, and its impact on the region’s commercial and cultural life remains significant. For instance, King Abdul Aziz Road, one of the city’s main thoroughfares, now stands where their house once stood.

Khaled Alshareef Altelmesani
Khaled embodies the entrepreneurial spirit of his forefathers and is fuelled by his deep passion for trade and commerce. He holds a B.A in Industrial Engineering and an MBA in International Marketing and Finance from the University of San Francisco, California. After completing his studies, he founded his first business – an electromechanical operation company and a structure steel manufactory. Over time, he handled the family business. He later established AlShareef holding with the vision of overseeing several subsidiaries in various industries, each with its specialty and a proven track record of success.
His vision is to develop the GCC’s economy and elevate its growth by providing the latest and most advanced technologies. He values his team’s personal and professional development and aims to support their aspirations while ensuring their well-being. Khaled is dedicated to positively impacting society and actively participates in charitable organizations that foster education and social development.
Khaled’s story is about determination, ambition, and a deep-rooted passion for trade and commerce.
